Drop-In Yoga Class – All Levels Welcome

Price:
175 DKK per class (pay at the school on arrival)

Each class includes:

Physical Yoga (Asana)
We teach Classical Yoga at our school. This means that the physical yoga is relatively slow. We also practice poses where you stay still for a while – this has a deep effect on the body and also has a meditative effect on the mind.

Breathing exercises (Pranayama)
You will always experience Yogic breathing exercises (Pranayama) in our classes.
The Pranayama help to release tension in the breath – this gives you access to your energy and your inspiration.

Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation)
This is a wonderful practice that will help you sleep better; it will release deeper muscular tension and it gives the mind a thorough rest.

Meditation
We end each class with meditation.
All the other practices can be seen as preparation for this – they help open the door to the meditative state.
There’s a lot to say about meditation – one benefit is quite simply that meditation helps you to know your own mind. When you know and accept your own mind, you will be able to rest in yourself.

Most of our classes are taught as progressive courses of 6-8 weeks, where you learn the system of yoga and maybe start to practice yourself at home as you learn it.

However, we realize not everyone has the time to attend on a weekly basis, so we are offering this drop-in as a way for people to practice when they can, try the yoga – and maybe at a later date enroll on a whole course.

Come as you are – we look forward to welcoming you.

Practical Information:
Yoga mats and blankets are provided in the yoga room.
